Yeah, the Jizzraelis were like, "we need some laws" and then Moses (pissbeuponhim) decided to fuck off up a mountain for over a month. Meanwhile, the kiddies of jizzrael were left with no laws. So they had a big orgy and found a (black?) bull to worship (as they would, naturally.)

Oh yeah, and then when Moses came back, some of the laws were useless shit like "don't worship that golden calf" that actually had nothing to do with governance and everything to do with god being a jealous fuck. "Don't work on sundays" wow, thanks for the wisdom... Well actually, he didn't even say "don't work," just "remember the sabbath" which is... Sure, I can "remember" it's a thing that exists. Wow, that sure is a thing. Anyway... Back to the orgies.

The weird and useless laws in the 10 commandments remind me of all the advice jebus gave that was pretty shit too. I'd have to go look up all the examples but there are some seriously dumb ones in among all the common sense. Shit like "take no thought for the morrow."
