My troon co-worker opened up to me today that he wants to move out of the US for "a place where someone like me is accepted". He didn't mention Trump, but that was the obvious reason. His plan is to fund his move by opening an Etsy store and selling fashion accessories that I guess he knows how to make.

It was also sad, not because I sympathize with his fake persecution complex, but because he's truly, hilariously hopeless. I've worked as this guy's supervisor for over a year. I know how disciplined he is, and it's not much. He's not building a successful Etsy store. He's not leaving the country. He's not going to do anything except keep drinking craft beers, watching his Star Wars and MCU shit (he's really into that stuff), and paying way too much for an apartment that's close to his favorite bars (he's said this many times).

In the interest of maintaining a drama-free work relationship, I tried to keep a straight face. Also, I didn't have anything to say because I couldn't say what I wanted to say which was:
