People who follow the Disney remakes know that they use most of the songs from the original films in it. They will however create a new song for each one to try to get an Oscar. It usually fails. The only one I can think of that worked is from the Lion King remake and that was probably because Beyonce sung it. The Negro Mermaid one is definitely not going to win an Oscar. :lol:

People are crying about this because of something 25 years ago but what they don't tell you is that she was the Producer of Lightyear. So no shit she got canned after releasing one of the biggest bombs in Pixar history.
