Re: Movie Thread
I think that’s what happened.
To be clear; the movie is uneven - one of the plots focuses on these two kids who are kid actors. They’re pretty bad - Keri Russell joins the story as one of the kids mother - and she improves what could have been a far worse side plot, but I won’t pretend the choice totally works.
The stuff I was into was Alden Ehrenreich and Ice Cubes son as the gangsters looking for the coke - that part of the movie starts out fun and picks up when Ray Liotta becomes a bigger part of the plot. A lot of their material feel like imitation Tarantino - but there were several moments with them that I liked more than several scenes from recent Tarantino movies.
It does do stuff like a Friday the 13th movie where characters that are kind of annoying get introduced for the purpose of getting killed, but the kills are plenty gory and even occasionally utilize practical effects - so that picks up when said characters start dying.
I like that the kills are arbitrary, too - with the Bear mostly looking for its next fix rather than victims. It becomes a farcical variant on a Michael Meyers type.

They’re gonna remake every animated Disney film and fill them with niggers. I wonder if the actor playing Peter Pan will also end up a homeless drug addict who’s rotting corpse is discovered in a shack?

It’s Disney, so he’ll at least get a reality show to enable his addiction problems.

>Peter Pan & Wendy
It's nice that they amended the title to feature the true protagonist.
I think I'll stick with Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Their Tinkerbell has just the right amount of ethnic.

Peter Pansexual will be super fruity and touchy. Totally not grooming those forever young Lost Boys.
