The South Park gig provides them with stable cash and they only have to work about ten weeks a year, giving them the other 42 weeks to marry black women and raise their black stepsons.

A lot of shows (and movie franchises like Hammer's Dracula) tend to continue on past their sell by date not because the creators don't realise that they're hacks (although there's some of that) but because most of the people who work on them are just ordinary people, and not mega rich celebrities, and keeping the show going is the best way to keep those people employed
