He is only pretending to be a useless fop so that no one suspects that he's actually He-Man. He's a lot like Clark Kent in that regard.
And being a brick shithouse means little if everyone is not only a shit brickhouse, but a shit brickhouse with super-strength.

That first remake was a bit more clever in that Prince Adam would only get swole after the henshin.

Just remembered a post I was trying to make weeks ago about that Rugrats reboot.

There are a couple of things to note:

1) Instead of taking the easy way out, they could've shown the characters in their twenties. It also shows how far the show has come; the OG show was cel animated (although when they started having those other two babies it was digital) while All Grown Up was digital, and this show is CGI. But its reboot with them as babies again because why not.

2) obviously Stu and Grandpa Lou's original voice actors can't come back, but for some reason they decided to replace all of the adult VAs and they all sound like they're phoning it in.

It's a reboot, not a sequel. Reboots always have to start from the beginning.
Plus it's better they're not in their twenties. Do you really want to see a gay Chuckie? Or Phil and Lil with swapped genders?

Fair enough. Plus, after that Blue's Clues clip, it's safe to say that idea is a bad one.

They did that All Growed Up where the Rugrats were teenagers and people didn't like it. It was pretty much a flop. They won't be revisiting that any time soon

You know, making betty deville gay in the reboot is kind of funny considering theres this whole batshit barney bunch speakonia meme that makes pretty much every rugrats character gay(betty deville herself being the leader of the biggest lesbian group in the barney bunch universe and is basically the lesbian equivalent to drew pickles gay gang). Are the writers of the rugrats reboot even aware of this meme and the implications of actually making a well known rugrats character canonically gay would do. Its like they want to make the barney bunch canon.

What about the meme that they're actually all dead? Like every other show ever made?

I'm also pretty sure that most normies only remember the baby era. Would confuse the fuck out of them if they tuned in to a Rugrats where everyone was an adult all of a sudden.

Considering it lasted for five seasons, I wouldn't call that a flop. It might suck, but five seasons is a decent run, especially of you think about other shows that don't even get that far. I can't tell you much since Rugrats nor All Grown Up were shows I watched consistently. But this reboot is basically just the last few seasons of Rugrats since they confirmed the parents (the best part of the original show) were going to have lesser roles.

You of all people should know that pretty much every cartoon gets greenlit for the standard 65 episodes, after which the studio has enough for syndication and doesn't need to make any more episodes, and there are only a few circumstances where it might get canned before that.

All Grown Up had the success that it did off the back of its parent show and unlike its parent show, which got nearly 200 episodes, three films, massive amounts of merchandising and memorabilia and now a revival, All Grown Up is basically forgotten. It's like Saved By The Bell: The New Class. The New Class actually ran for seven seasons, longer than its parent show, but nobody remembers or cares about it and it really didn't launch anyone's career.

All Grown Up worked best as a one-off and should have stayed as a one-off

All Ground Up is a quality television product just like Dragon Ball GT.
