I hate modern who fans. I also hate modern who even more. Moffat's in there too somewhere.

I hated Twice Upon a Time. Moffat had it to where he made the original Doctor a misogynist. He never acted that way in the original serials. That was disrespectful to the original actor, the original writers, and the original creator. Fuck you, Moffat. I'm glad you're off the show.

The 80s did it too, in The Five Doctors.

It's easy to retcon shit from a time period where the BBC didn't really care a lot about archiving shit.

(Also you have to destroy the old to make your new stuff look better in comparison. I think Marvel does the same for their SJW replacement heroes.)

This is a kid's show, right? And grown people obsess over it because...?

It's basically like with Power Rangers and - to a lesser extent - its Super Sentai original: It's a kids show, but it's been going on for decades to the points that manchilds never grow out of it and start getting autistic about the "deep lore" that's been created over time.

Dr. Hu always seemed to me to be a franchise where the shit overwhelmingly surrounds the good, it's just not worth getting into.

I don't get why it's seen as a kids show when they've done plenty of adult, Orwellian stories in the past.
And for the record, I only started watching it in 2013, so there's no deep childhood nostalgia for me.
