But this will probably be the modus operandi of this show: Cram as much diversity into the show as possible and then fabricate some justification for it.
Though I guess going "Did you know LotR is based on Norse mythology?!" is a bit more creative than The Wheel of Time's "we wanted to represent a glorious, diverse utopia which we imagine Future USA to be like".
