Hell, just press some bullets without powder or primer.
Isn't that how Brandon Lee got his?

But again, even if they weren't real and were instead blanks, it'll still be fatal because of the air pressure.
No. Only if something was in the barrel. Half a meter away it would deafen you but you wouldn't feel much of anything but a light breeze.

Yeah, an actual .44mag you feel a good deal fired next to you but much of that is psychological.
It'll break concentration and you might pull the trigger, but that's a real, kicking, fuckoff, 44mag.
Blanks? Limp dick faggot shit in comparison.
Hell, not even an actual .45 ACP startles you next to you, as it's such a slow explosion. Only the casing hitting you on the headphones or glasses would.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't even have a blank fired straight at me. Ever! But that's more because I'd refuse a barrel pointed at me in principle and because debris in the barrel. The blank on its own you could fire at your temple and besides minor burns it's harmless.

I don't like you guestniggers on the best of days, much less when you make me look up faggot actors.
.44mag revolver on the set, live ammo on the set, dude was supposed to unload live ammo for blanks, /noguns/, shot himself during a break, nobody was around but yet supposedly there are five versions of his last words.

Sounds a whole lot like some dipshit putting an honest to god half-jacketed flathead through his airhead and the crew deciding it was an accident than some dude killing himself with a blank.

Hey now. That's cultural appropriation.

Possible, but I'd bet 10bux that someone sells fake-but-real-looking bullets with neither powder nor primer (and probably also cheaper metals) specifically for scenes where the camera needs some good shots of bullets.

Professionals probably do, yeah. But what happened here was strictly amateur hour.

I can't fathoms why actual bullets were even around to be loaded into the pistol

No, RAPEMAN is entirely correct. Live bullets have no place on a movie shoot you point guns at people in and in any case a quick check could have prevented the accident.
What would you ever use live rounds for? Blanks eject a case and it's not like you'd ever see a projectile on film anyway.
Civil court will fuck his shit seven days from Sunday.
