You've never heard Gangsta's Paradise?
May've had the misfortune of hearing it once or twice on radio at work. Never bothered to look into it.

You've never seen Kenan & Kel?
Heard about them, but then again, I never watched Snick back then as every program was (and still is) painfully unfunny.

You've never seen Futurama?
Only some of the earlier seasons prior to its cancellation. Never saw the revival. I take it he was the voice of Kwanzaabot?

Oh, look at that Kugel. 'No drugs or drug paraphernalia found at the scene'
Well, good thing he was vaxxed. It could've been so much worse if he wasn't.

I mean, theoretically he could have shot up or snorted somewhere else and then gone to his friend's house. But that's a pretty shit friend if that's the case, because the signs of overdose would have been fairly obvious.

Seems like the current assumption is that it was a heart attack. Clot shot doing it's work.

Weird Al's "Amish Paradise" parody is arguable more remembered.
Didn't he try to sue Weird Al over it?
The only other time i saw a nigger that desperate was when the guy who played Cyrus in The Warriors tried to sue Rockstar over his likeness in the vidya version.

Not sure if there was a suit, but there was a dumb "beef". Coolio gave Al permission to do the song and only changed his mind after the song came out and got popular. He was pissed because it hurt his "street cred" or something.
Found this:
Coolio wrote:“Let me say this: I apologized to Weird Al a long time ago and I was wrong,” Coolio told Vice in 2014. “Y’all remember that, everybody out there who reads this shit. Real men and real people should be able to admit when they’re wrong and I was wrong, bro. Come on, who the fuck am I, bro?”

“He did parodies of Michael Jackson, he did parodies of all kinds of people and I took offense to it because I was being cocky and shit and being stupid and I was wrong and I should’ve embraced that shit and went with it,” he continued. “I listened to it a couple years after that and it’s actually funny as shit. It’s one of those things where I made a wrong call and nobody stopped me. That’s one thing I’m still upset about — my management at the time. Somebody should’ve stopped me from making that statement because it was dumb. And I think it hurt me a little bit. It made me seem stupid.”

He didn't need any help at seeming stupid with that hairstyle.

I remember hearing that Weird Al got the okay from the record label, but not Coolio himself for that parody.

Seeing as it was part of a movie soundtrack, I don't think he had a meaningful say in it.
Vary funny as well that he went on to say that he's be in the top ten rappers at the end of the day. He's considered even more of a one hit wonder than Vanilla Ice.
