No. It's actually the opposite: for me, it represents something I've been talking for years now, the amount of pressure society as a whole always imposed on people to find "love as the ultimate happiness goal", usually resorting to sappy shit like this. For years it produced a vast majority of unhappy people getting together just because it was the "right" thing to do, promising them a rose-tinted life that was impossible to achieve for them. And nowdays, I believe this kind of shit is what causes the incel phenomena - awkward dudes that should just accept their awkwardness and be at ease with that, maybe paying whores to satisfy their physical need for sex, and so on. But nooo, this kind of shit creeps in the collective mind and is used to shove people in a path of almost certain unhappiness.

Fuck this romantic shit. We came a long way becoming cynicals for this shit to ever be acceptable again.
