Didn't know where to post about just comic books. But I just started getting into the Energon Universe and am enjoying it. Void Rivals, Transformers, Duke, and Cobra Commander. Any of y'all read it?

I've been badly burned by Transformers comics. The Dreamwave debacle, the SJW IDW clusterfuck...

Is this a different thing from IDW's terror regime, and if so has it fixed any of IDW's mistakes (namely too much troonshit in Transformers, and assigning writers to GI Joe who hate both the USA and the military)?

This is Image comics. No SJW shit at all and I've read All of the Duke (GI Joe) up to 9 of Transformers, 4 of the Cobra Commander and 9 of their original series Void Rivals.

They seem to have great respect for the source material. I recommend it.

Oh and all these stories are intertwined, not just same universe. So GI joe and Transformers will be fighting one another.It's also origin stories for all of them including Cobra Commander, Destro and Duke. Good stuff.

That's nice but even as a child I found the concept of Transformers even having a storyline ridiculous. I never watched the cartoons.

Starscream calls them squishies. LOL And yeah. Bumblebee is shot in the face and dies in the first issue. That was his only scene.

We never really got GI Joe over here. Instead they did some official "homage" of sorts in the form of Action Man, though afaik that quickly stopped having any resemblance to GI Joe.
