Re: Weebshit Thread
Would Yidsney really have the clout to push for copyright trolling for weird Japanese and European exclusive TV adaptations of fairy tales in Europe and Japan, especially during the 60s and 70s?
Re: Weebshit Thread
I never liked Haruhi, and I still think that show sucked ass.

Oh good. Tits Girl crying all the time was the only good part of that series.
Re: Weebshit Thread
What, you didn't like when the very same episode was repeated eight times in a row with slight variations?
It's a trap!

Endless Eight would've been a lot more popular if it involved rape.
Speaking of title changes, this reminds me of an animu where the opposite happened:
Metropolis, based on the Osamu Tezuka manga, which in turn was inspired by the German sci-fi klessik.
Apparently the Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Foundation (which holds the license - and preserves - the German original, as well as a number of other German classics like Jud Süß and The Eternal Jew) apparently didn't like one of their IPs be associated with the Nips, so both the manga and the animu had to be called Robotic Angel in Krautland.
Certainly not in Europe. All the dubs include "Pinocchio" in the title. Maybe the Nips were a bit paranoid or something.ebin namefag wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 12:35 amWould Yidsney really have the clout to push for copyright trolling for weird Japanese and European exclusive TV adaptations of fairy tales in Europe and Japan, especially during the 60s and 70s?

Oh, but said episodes were meant to be repeated 8 times in succession in order make you pay attention to said differences so you can feel slightly more clever at noticing the repetition, thereby allowing you to give yourself a well earned pat on the back for feeling like you're smarter for connecting the dots.

Imagine a modern clickbait site having a go at The Autism of Haruhi Suzumiya.
