It's not really 3D, it's "make this in the cheapest way possible" D.
Imagine waiting for new Berserk anime for two decades, just to get this unwatchable pile of crap.

Speaking of 3D, I've just checked out Gundam: The Origin aka The Adventures of Young Char and his Kawaii Sister.
They're really laying it thick with muh nostalgia. Every single Zabi from the original animu was in the first episode. Plus a new Zabi created specifically to be blown up in his debut episode. Even Ramba "No Zaku" Ral is in this. I bet any OG Gundam character who wasn't like 10 in the original show will pop up at one point.
Further points of contention are weird animu hijinks sprinkled throughout the runtime (nothing too zany, but distracting nontheless), and of course the 3D. Mind you, the Guntank shown in the first episode was servicable (though that 3D animation is still a far cry from 2D shit they pulled off 30+ years ago), but then they also decided to have 3D crowds (thankfully the camera is zoomed out far enough that you might tolerate it), and then they decided to feature a driving scene through 3D terrain which literally looked like a first-person view of this from 1999:



You could probably get a better driving scene by driving through the OG GTA 3 with some first-person camera (which might already be part of the game; I remember the PS2 version having all sorts of useless camera perspectives).

It's almost as if it's a prequel

The entire point of the story is chronicling the Zabis rise to power and the beginnings of Char's quest for revenge. It would be stupid not to feature them
