The in-game visuals of the first Valkyria Chronicles are more stunning and fluid than this. It even does the whole cross-hatch thing for shadows, except more dynamic.

So first Ultraman Ace tricks one monster to tackle another to divert some aggro. The so triggered monster proceeds to pummel the shit out of the smaller one, culminating in it ripping its jaw, part of its chest, and one of its legs off, all with wonderfully visceral gore that was really only missing blood geysers for full effect.
