My personal theory is that they just pay him too much money for him to quit. He's just sitting in a corner of the studio with a truckload of blow and hookers, just to ensure that any discussion about this project ends with some fanboy going "This is an Oda production. It will succeed where all other animu adaptations have failed".

Crypton's endless tinkering with their in-house Miku model ist starting to remind me of Touhou.
