I finally got time to finish watching the first season of NonNon Biyori and I can affirm with all certainty: there's absolutely nothing as cute and wholesome in this world as episode 10. I probably developed emotional diabetes out of it, but I don't care. It is something sorely needed.

Tsuburaya just remembered a certain other Ultra series having an anniversary this year.


Ultraman Mebius. Aka the 40th anniversary Ultra. Aka the only non-Showa Ultra series to be set on the same Earth as the Showa ones. Aka the Ultra whose fans are eternally butthurt that he keeps getting overshadowed by Ultraman Zero (then again this happens to most Ultras when compared to the Hogger of Spotlights).

One thing is for certain, though: The waifus are of excellent quality.

Looking back at the rich history of 3DPD animu adaptations, I'm kinda surprised they made a Ghost in the Shell one where Batou didn't become black as well. And you can even tell who he's supposed to be because he actually has Batou's hair and all.
