So I went and watched Book of Boba Fett ep 1.

I heard some bad reviews from those Star Wars YouTube autists, so I was expecting something a lot worse. But the episode was satisfactory. "Satisfactory" is pretty good for Star Wars these days, where most of the product being released is complete crap.

It seems some people are pissed that the way Boba Fett escaped the Sarlaac was different than in the EU or the comics or whatever. I never bothered reading that crap, so that doesn't affect me.

The Sarlacc could never hold Fett. Thanks to his iron will and Mandalorian armor, Fett was able to fight his way out of the beast's belly.

I betcha this was a 500-page epic.

And did they at least adjust the armor? I seem to recall seeing shots of the epic Mandalorian x Boba crossover where the Boba actor was so bulky the armor didn't quite fit as well as it used to.

No, the only adjustments they made were shitty ones-- they repainted the armor for some reason, probably to sell new toys. I think that happened in The Mandalorian.
