I meant more along the lines that this faggot has no reason to be in directing and writing in the first place, since he's utter shit at it and really inly went that route out of convenience. I feel like A New Hope is the worst Special Edition.
Jedi has the worst shit in it Re: Special Editions, but with that I’m already moderating my expectations. I’ve seen the theatrical cut once and I thought it was great, but there’s no reason w the mouses resources - that the theatrical New Hope shouldn’t be reasonably accessible.

When Lucas sold the IP to Disney, it could be part of the deal that he has to approve of any re-release or remaster or anything that involves his original six movies. I have no idea, but it makes sense to me since he's devoted so much of his life to them. And he likes those Special Editions.

The last time the theatrical versions of the original three came out officially was on DVD around 2005. The original trilogy came out on two-disc sets with the latest Special Edition on disc 1 and then the theatrical version as a "bonus" on disc 2..

There’s damage done to RotJ - I would say the theatrical cut - objectively - is like a 6/10 - and the Special Edition is a straight up bad movie.
But New Hope - the theater version, is one of the actual greatest movies ever and the Special Edition harms it so much.
