All three Indys are classics in their own regards. Yeah, Temple does have that annoying woman and that gook, and they are both actually pretty fucking annoying, but still. Ripping the heart out scene compensates for it all. I still haven't watched the Crystal Skull and don't feel like I have missed something relevant.

Since LaBeouf got MeAgained - and given who the screenwriter is - what are the odds that there's some throwaway line about Mutt being in jail and on the sex offender registry or some shit like that?

Dead or estranged. The ending of Crystal Skull implied The Beef would become Indy Jr. sometime soon, but if they're jumping ahead twenty years then he's just a useless character. That or they'll do some thing where he disappeared looking for something and Indy has to come out of retirement to help find him, but that was the plot of the last movie so they'll probably just kill him.

I hope they pull a kinda-sorta Last of Us 2, giving us a lovely scene of someone in Indie-gear getting beaten to a bloody pulp, only to reveal that it was supposed to be LaBitch's character instead of the real deal.
