That's why China has 150 languages (or some other ridiculous figure).

The joke is that in reality they are almost all trying to speak the same language but fail as it's too inflexible towards local dialects.

The fuckers had paper before anyone else and couldn't even come up with a reasonable way to write their shit language in all that time.
They also invented gunpowder and the cumpass and did nothing with either.
Chinks are wasters of opportunity.

Why all that shit when humans are really only able to make a few dozen sounds anyway?
Did you ever think that chinks aren't human?

If I travel for a few hours, or say two days by horse, suddenly every "ch" is pronounced as a "k" or every "o" as an "ö" or every "st" and "sp" as they are, instead of as "scht" and "schp" as anywhere else in Germany.
Now imagine that those differences wouldn't just make it a local accent to you but mean something entirely different
It's almost like the Anciente Chinese lords and ladies didn't want peasants to be able to leave their home easily.
They certainly made their written language too confusing for the normies to learn.

They actually thought that their retarded writing style would make it simpler for anybody to convey information. While the spoken language is ridiculously easy to learn because of the lack of rules to follow, they thought the written language could easily solve the problem of having 200 different non mutually intelligible dialects by just making different symbols mean different words. Obviously, this was a very stupid idea and the chinese know this, as they otherwise wouldn't include pinyin in their dictionaries (before they did this, words would be ordered by how many lines the symbol has, which is a massive pain in the ass if you want to search for something). They suffer from this stupidity to this day, as the majority of the time in school in China is spent copying text to get used to this abomination of a language.

>Simpler

Probably didn't work out considering that "Simplified Chinese" is a thing

True, even though simplified chinese is only used by mainland communists who aren't exactly known to be very bright. This is why mandarin is also way dumbed down in it's complexity compared to cantonese.
