How does a guy with his following (4.6 million assholes follow him on Twitter and I'm one of them) not be able to raise more than $37,500? How is that possible? Did he not promote it for some reason? (Again, this is the first that I'm hearing of it.) Ethan Van Sciver can raise $37K in an hour.

If I had to guess I'd say that it's because aside from Oswalt it's a bunch of 'who?' writers and a bunch of 'who?' artists.
People know EVS. They know the quality of his work. He's a superstar artist. Oswalt's comic, aside from Oswalt himself, is just a bunch of nobodies.
