It's pretty funny how Redline constantly claims that DHI mods are faggots, yet he admits to wanting to take it up the ass from a horrible Hollywood actress.
Having sex with a woman isn't gay. Moderating an internet forum is.
Sleeping with a woman is even dumber than fucking a dude at this point.

Ron Howard recently gave an interview about his directing career and one line from it got picked up by a lot of the "geek" news outlets. When he took the job to direct the international superhit "Solo: A Star Wars Story", Howard says that George Lucas gave him a memorable piece of advice for how to make a Star Wars movie.

"Just don't forget - It's for 12-year-boys".

It's not a new quote, but it's out there again. Arguments are raging of course, and I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I am struck nonetheless by how many people have NO IDEA what Lucas meant by that.

The autistics take the line 100% literally ("Uh, I was 13 when I saw Star Wars and I liked it, so Lucas doesn't know what he's talking about."). People who enjoy feeling oppressed read the line as some kind of gatekeeping ("Oh, I'm a girl so I guess I can't understand Star Wars, HUH, Lucas??"). Then there are the retards who think they're smart and see Star Wars as way too deep for 12-year-olds to fully understand (as if all entertainment for young people is supposed to suck).

But it's obvious to me what Lucas meant. Anyone on planet Earth is invited to enjoy Star Wars, but creative people need themes to work with. You never finish anything if you don't know your theme. And the theme of Lucas's Star Wars is a young man's moral choice. Again, ANYONE can like Star Wars, but if it fails the test of relating to 12-year-old boys and what they think is cool, it's not Star Wars anymore.

Tellingly, when Disney stopped thinking that Star Wars was for 12-year-old boys was when interest in it started dying.

I'd argue that the Acolyte is more for toddlers.

I feel that's most of them. People online hate it when you suggest that the IP they've built their entire online presence around does not need a high IQ to understand. They need to believe that something is deep to validate their fine taste.
