The 95 movie blows it away, especially in casting. Johnny and Liu Kang make a great team. Bridgette Wilson is a decent Sonya despite getting cast literally right before they started filming. Raiden is fucking awesome and can actually speak English.

The old movie felt like an actual movie. This feels like something made for tv or the internet with no regard to framing. I wouldn't be shocked if someone told me the director filmed it on his phone.



Simps are defending the racist producers saying Cage will be in the sequel. First off, rigga please. There isn't going to be a sequel. And if there is, Cole the Wonder OC will be the star and Cage will be treated like a clown. People who think he's a racist character aren't going to just reverse their beliefs and make him a likeable character. Look how many characters they introduced into the new movie just to kill them a minute later. That's Cage, probably dying after slipping on a banana peel.

I think the makers of that Castlevania 3 animu did something similar with Grant, who they didn't include in the animu despite being a main character in Castlevania 3, but they assure us that he's totally out there somewhere.
