Jason works best as a giant murder zombie, I don't fucking care about realism. As far as slashers go you have Michael Meyers, Leatherface, Normie Bates and the cast of the Hills Haves Eyes to serve as normal murder humans. Jason being a zombie with super strength is kind of his only thing. That and his backstory being one of the more sympathetic ones as far as slashers go but they never really lean on that.

I liked Part 2, mostly because it was the only one to bother giving Jason any kind of intelligence, even if it is a retarded one. His hut was cool too - I wish we'd seen more of how Jason survives on a daily basis. That's what I want, a Jason Voorhees reality show

Michael was never normal. I'm surprised Carpenter even bothered giving him a backstory and a name when the point of him is to be the boogeyman. I guess it's so they could have Loomis running around like an 80s Van Helsing.

Just watched Jason Lives. It's probably the best directed of all the Jason movies, and feels pretty modern. It's also where the series went into the shitter and he officially became an unstoppable zombie instead of a big angry retard. It's full of modern pop music and silly comedic moments like Jason tilting his head like a confused dog while watching an RV rock from teenagers fucking. There's also NO NUDITY so fuck this gay movie.

It’s the best in the series and one of those great examples of meta horror comedy along with Night of the Creeps, not annoying bullshit like Scream. And Rushy is right, Myers was never normal. Even the Rob Zombie movies fucked that up with the sequel.

The biggest bullshit was not continuing the Tommy Jarvis story and having him become the new Jason because of ptsd. They also did nothing with the chick from 3D who got raped by Jason and was pregnant with his child.

She wasn’t pregnant, the chick who was pregnant was the one stabbed in the hammock. The rape thing was also very vague since the woke up in bed the next day, I doubt Jason tucked her in post dicking. And Tommy Jason would have sucked.
