I think Araki went fully homosexual around part five. Not even joking. His art always kinda had that "bro no homo" vibe but yeah, in a more wide appreciation of different male forms. But then part 4 and especially part 5 everybody had the twink body.

I think the earliest twink was Caesar from Part 2. That stupid feather headband alone is almost gayer than all the Pillar Men combined.

No idea what that is. Did a quick google image search and it looks like western Araki (parts 1-3 specifically) so I'm going to say yes.

The most obvious gay-ism in Araki's work is dudes all posing in a line together with their dicks lined up against each other's asses.

Celebration of the male masculine form is one thing but it definitely reaches a point where you see obvious gay overtones or outright homosexuality. Reminder that a lot of male lifters are actually mega gay. Scooby is probably the most well-known example.

How many times do we see bulky powerlifter types in Araki's fiction? I can't recall any outside of maybe some redshirt vampire that got killed. Because Araki isn't into those kind of guys. Other gay comics will be full of the gay powerlifter trope dude because that's what the artist likes.

My mega gay armchair psychology is Araki started out liking bara muscle guys (mesomorph shredded bodies) and then transitioned (heh!) into twink fetish (ectomorphic with more feminine features).
