There's some kind of new retcon in Daima that all Dragon Ball characters with pointed ears are mazoku or descendants of the mazoku. This apparently includes Popo, the Nameckians, and the Kaioshins. I hope that there's a point to this retcon eventually, otherwise it's just stupid.

There are a couple Kaioshins residing in the Makai Demon Realm plus an old Nameckian that created three Makai Dragon Balls. Each of the balls is guarded by a powerful warrior which has made them unattainable so far. I'm sure this will come into play somehow.
