Impossible. Spoydermon is 100% CGI instead of 95%. Who wants to watch that?
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

In short, no one cared about the Flash coming out and now we know it has piss poor word of mouth with it's 72% drop on its second weekend

This’ll be a fun year for Capeshit - with Guardians and Spiderverse out - the hits have already happened.
After this it’s Blue Beetle, The Marvels and Aquaman. Flop, flop, flop. The rest of the year is gonna be funny.

This is how the capeshit genre dies. Not with a bang, but with a whimper.CuckTurdginson wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 7:59 pmAfter this it’s Blue Beetle, The Marvels and Aquaman. Flop, flop, flop. The rest of the year is gonna be funny.

This shit will drag on like a zombie as long as Batman/Joker and Spiderman keep making money. My hope for near future is this new James Gunn Superman bombing and they have to try and reboot for the third time.

It’s possible - his Suicide Squad did tank.

Re: Capeshit thread (comics and movies)
I'm keeping an open mind about the James Gunn-ification of DC. He's made good movies before. I think he's aware of DC's problems. I think he's seeing movies like "The Flash" bomb and he's thinking about why.
One "obstacle" to DC's success is Superman. He's an optimistic character that needs to be sold in pessimistic times. We need to be interested in him before we buy the DC universe as a whole. Zack Snooder got it all wrong with his "dark" Superman. Gunn is writing and directing the new Superman himself. He's taking on the big job and for awhile on Twitter, he was posting images of the 1978 "Superman" movie (the only good movie Superman we have) and Grant Morrison's "All-Star Superman", which I take as good signs. I'll be curious to see what he does with it..
