Where is this wave of anti-woke comics sweeping the nation?
Sounds like the guy is jealous of Joe "Heinrich Himmler" Rogan.

I thought I'd triggered Complicitly or Poonoo again reading that.
Why would i be triggered by that?
The dude sounds exactly like Chelsea Van Valkenberg, when she blamed GaymurGayte for Trump's victory in 2016.
I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more copium!

In English, "comedian" and "comic" are interchangeable words.
Rodney Dangerfield is a famous comedian.
Rodney Dangerfield is a famous comic.
Both are things that someone might say.
It can be confusing.
In 1982, the late-night talk show host Johnny Carson insulted Jack Kirby in one of the worst possible ways, out of sheer ignorance. As a favor for a small publisher, Kirby had created a comic book called “Battle for a Three Dimensional World.” The artist’s dynamic, eye-popping style was perfect for the format of the book, which came with 3-D glasses reading “Jack Kirby, King of the Comics.” Someone had given Carson the glasses for a comedy routine, sending Carson into an angry riff on national television. Who was this Jack Kirby character, Carson wanted to know, who claimed to be the “king of the comics”? Carson knew every comedian around, and he’d never heard of this Kirby joker. “He’s king of the con men, as far as I’m concerned!” Carson exclaimed.
Jack Kirby, according to his biographer and onetime assistant Mark Evanier, was “deeply, deeply hurt” by Carson’s insults. Evanier wrote to Carson to explain that Kirby was no boastful third-rate stand-up comedian but a legendary comic-book artist, the creator or co-creator of a pantheon of superheroes that included Captain America, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, the Hulk, the X-Men, the Avengers, Nick Fury, Ant Man, Thor, Black Panther, and scores of others. The moniker Jack “King” Kirby was bestowed on him by Kirby’s collaborator (and sometime foe) Stan Lee. Chastened by the letter, Carson offered a gracious on-air apology.

I like how he singles out troons and women somehow being "endangered" and don't realize troons are the ones endangering women. Anyway, rest in piss, loser, humor cannot be politically correct and that's why your lame ass side lost

Since Trump's re-election, the left are into this idea that comedy and podcasts are now dominated by the right-wing. Never mind the nine jillion aggressively leftist comics. The glass is half-empty.
There's still very little reflection on that side about how their candidate sucked and their party dropped the ball. They still blame "hate"

They just love being the poor underdog.

There’s denial in my circles about even Joes cognition, which should be obvious.
I suppose there are people who succeed in YouTube/Podcasting (comedy not so much) because they are right wing - and that turns out to be all they’ve got going for them.
Idk, Maron and co seem most triggered by Joe Rogan; who is genuinely stupid and doesn’t really know what he believes. He’s already turned on Trump, for example.

DHI is proof you can be both a massive homosexual and a virgin. They're not exclusive. If you display both in large enough quantities you can qualify for mod status.

Comedians think they’re the innovators that lead the way in enlightenment, I remember hearing this on a Louis CK shitcom commentary. It’s more of a case of dumb people taking everything you say as 100% fact.

After Rogan interviewed Trump, Maron wrote a blog post about platforming "fascists", never mentioning Rogan, but he was obviously talking about him. It was just as whiny as the quotes above
Also, people overlook that Rogan tried to get Kamala Harris on, but she wouldn't do it. She never said no, but her campaign made unreasonable demands that demonstrated that they weren't interested.
In any case, Rogan had Bernie Sanders on this week. That's how right-wing he is

This is a good point.
When CNN interviewed Tim Dillon about the perceived right-wing takeover of comedy, he did a good job of both swatting that back and saying that comedians aren't as powerful as the media bores like to say.
