I also kinda wonder if they'll keep that great lore addition from EA about how Shelob can henshin into a hot waifu if she wants to.
Apparently that might just happen. The long-awaited season 2 of the cult-classic that is Rangz of Powah has some kind of plan with Shelob, including some kind of redesign.
So either she turns into a chick so they have another character to ship, or they turn her into a D&D Drider (aka spider centaur).
Probably mostly a chick, because that's cheaper.

Cure (1997), directed by the other Kurosawa, is on the Internet Archive:

https://archive.org/details/cure_20211214

It's a good horror/mystery movie about a serial killer who pretends to be an amnesiac retard, and instead he's a genius who hypnotizes people into committing murders and carving X symbols on the corpses.
The story and atmosphere reminded me of Otomo's Domu.

This is a good pick. I recommend it to people who don’t know Japanese cinema outside of samurai, anime, and ghost horror.

Watched Firefly for the first time. I really don't understand why this series has gained such cult popularity. It wasn't exactly bad, but everything about it was so painfully average. All the characters were really one-dimensional, the dialogue was completely bland and the main character really uncharismatic. His main personality trait was to always leave all his opponents alive, no matter what they did. The series had a strong 90s feel and I can believe that those who watched the series when it was new can certainly feel nostalgic for it, but watching it now for the first time.. blah. What a disappointment after all the hype.

It's shit but it was new to people who had never seen Cowboy Bebop at that time. You have to remember these are the same people who thought Buffy was good.

Dude was riding off of the success of Buffy, plus some of the nerdier watchers could pretend they were watching Cowboy Bebop or a Traveller RPG adaptation.

I remember tuning out of that garbage when Cuck Whedon tried oh so hard to make hookers look cool.

It's Whedon worship. People like Firefly because it's the safe Reddit opinion to like Firefly. You're supposed to like it.

Whedon is ass cancer, and we're only now starting to recover from the damage he did.

DHI is proof you can be both a massive homosexual and a virgin. They're not exclusive. If you display both in large enough quantities you can qualify for mod status.
