It was the "American Pastime" because games used to be an hour long and since they were always playing you could spend a hot afternoon in the shade choking on weiners (lulz). Now games average over 3 hours, and if the score is close in the later innings they can go on well past midnight. Fuck Baseball, the worst sport ever.

If I absolutely had to watch a sport it would be boxing. Or drag racing, if that counts as a sport.

Huh. Well, you've pretty much described Deontay Wilder, WBC Heavyweight champion. 41 fights, two real ones. One against Luis Ortiz, a Cuban bloke past his prime but he rocked Wilder solid. Another just last year against Tyson Fury, Lineal Heavyweight champion, beat Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 and became a boxing God. Fury took Wilder to school but Wilder was gifted a decision when some judge decided it was a draw.

The Klitschko's were similarly shielded. Every Klitschko fight was a big event here. Even Vitali mostly fought against utter dipshits, low-ranked bitches or total dummies that ate their way into the heavyweights artificially. You'd see fat fuckers barely making the weight requirements going against pure muscle, athletic Ukrainian punching machines. How exciting. Couldn't tell the outcome right away.
