Eh, more like one out of three was a flop and I am just saying that because I don't see any reviews online for that Pharrell Lego movie, at least from what I am seeing.

>animation movies
You mean those fully CGI movies as opposed to the regular CGI movies which may or may not have famous actors do some motion capturing for?
Sounds like they need their own union!

What’s there to talk about, fatty?

The Wild Robot - flop
Piece by Piece - flop
Transformers One - flop
My Hero Academia: You’re Next - shonenshit
The Nightmare Before Christmas - rerelease

Nobody’s paying to see films animated by nobodies.
I definitely agree with everything except for maybe Wild Robot. That has made $154,386,232 on a reported $78,000,000 so far in 3 weekends. And it's weekend drops have been pretty good so far. 47% for the 1st drop and 26% for the second is really impressive. Will definitely get the minimum of 195 million to break even.

Piece by Piece definitely looks to be a flop. $4,959,635 domestic box office on a $16 million budget is pretty bad and it doesn't have many international markets to be shown at. I can't see it hitting 40 million unless it has really great weekend drops.

I don't need to look at Transformers One to know it's a flop because all the faggots have been crying it is one due to the poor marketing. But let's take a look. $112,272,703 box office on a $75,000,000 budget for a movie that came out a month ago is pathetic. And that has been having bad drops as well. This movie is 100% not breaking whatsoever.

And I am not shocked that the faggot used MHA as how great the animation industry is. The same faggots do the same with the comic industry with manga.

A by-the-numbers shounenshit movie is almost like a shining beacon in this ocean of flops.
At least you know there will be no sassy girlboss stealing the main protagonist's spotlight.

That’s fair. I just find it pathetic that a film breaking even is called a ““““success””””. Animators nowadays are fucking delusional.

Looks more like a forgettable 3D cartoon with non-binary robots instead of an actual feature film.

That's fair. Breaking even shouldn't be the end goal. I am lenient when it comes to breaking even. Other people put it at 3 times the production budget. And yes animators are fucking delusional as you say. The examples you shown below has shown this.
This Nico guy is delusional especially. First they say that animation is so fucking expensive and get shocked that companies don't want to keep them. And if anything the problem with the entertainment industry is that there is zero meddling. They let you guys do what you want without tard wrangling. That's why entertainment has become crap.

Nico’s only talent is was being John K’s lackey.

John K has had me over his house many times for parties and if I had to choose, he’s the #1 person who made me want to be in animation, so I feel incredibly lucky about that.
