Started watching 2012's Alcatraz series. It's from Bad Robot though it's not awful like I expected, but god the Mystery Box shit is annoying. I'm 8 episodes in and it's basically just a chase-the-villain show with no explanation for anything. In 1963 the prisoners and guards of Alcatraz disappeared, and in 2012 they start coming back. Every once in a while one of the main characters will briefly wonder why, then it's back to running and fighting until the person is dead or captured with no answers given. Fucking JJ Abrams.

On the plus side, the lead chick looks like a blonde Jane Levy. She's in the illegal immigrant NASA show now.
