I would argue TOS fight scenes are fine. The characters aren't supposed to be kung fu killers. It's typical hollywood bar brawl stuff and it's fine for what it is. Shatner at least always gives 100% in the fight scenes. People go flying everywhere and punches look like they hurt. It's corny as hell but it's better than the nothing that we got in TNG and DS9.

I mean, not every show can be Babylon 5 with space elves using quarterstaves.

Picard is an old man. It's fine he doesn't fight. It's not fine that Worf gets bodied every episode and the choreography for fight scenes in TNG is shit. "Conspiracy" is another good showcase episode for how bad the choreography is.
