Steven Universe is a fine example how kids shows have improved over the years? Animation has gotten worse, but that's OK because it enables a faster publication cycle? Woah, Doge is really one big fucking idiot.

So I watched a few episodes of Disenchantment.

The people comparing it to Zombie Simpsons and Second-run Futurama were wrong. Those shows are offensively bad. Probably the worst thing I can say about this show is that it's just so bland. The few I could stand to watch never elicited a single laugh from me. Not one.

The show just seemed like filler until episode 8. Too many dumb, aimless episodes about getting drunk or high.
Y'all might want to skip to ep 8 if you've given up... plot starts to actually happen.
