I remember some book of star wars trivia tried to explain the Kessel Run shit. Basically it's a field of blacks holes you have to manually chart a course through. The Falcon makes it through in the least amount of jumps (distance), whereas most ships take like 20+ jumps to navigate through the black hole field.

I doubt it. Nobody really cared about that walking pharmacy before she died and I think we're well past the point where people pretend to care after she's died.
