The two guns thing was stolen from John Woo and Chow Yun-Fat. All the martial arts stylings had been done already by many Hong Kong movies of the '90s.

Publisher ADV has compared and found many similarities between the Megazone 23 series and The Matrix, but The Wachowskis have denied it was an influence during the development of the film series.

Of course it wasn't.

What other good movie have the tranny twins made besides The Matrix anyway?

Every single episode. But it doesn't get old, somehow.

That's probably my favorite anime. There's a lot of annoying filler at the beginning, which turns some people off. I've started compiling a list here, but haven't finished.

I already know where the filler is. I watched cutscenes for Ken's Rage 1. Any episode synopsis which doesn't include important names gets skipped.
