You're thinking of Obama and PRISM. That's nothing to do with Dubya and whoever this dead guy is.Le Redditeur wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 6:05 pm>going full 1984 over the civilian population is not a crime against humanity

Re: Dead Celebrities aren't much fun
Yes it is. Firstly the pretext by which Bush got authorisation to use military force on Iraq was fraudulent and therefore illegal and secondly the invasion itself was in violation of the UN charter and therefore illegal. This is not just my argument, many legal experts and the British inquiry into Iraq have all concluded that the invasion was illegal.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 7:58 pmNope. A war started on false pretences is not "illegal"
During the Iraq War the US murdered Iraqi civilians, imprisoned them in Gitmo, without trial, subject them to extrajudicial punishment and, of course, tortured them. These are all crimes against humanity. Bush did this under the pretext that the Iraqis had WMDs, which they didn't, and therefore his lie about WMDs was in furtherance of his crimes against humanity and thus a crime against humanity in of itselfGuest wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 7:58 pmnor is it a crime against humanity
What you have demonstrated is that you either don't actually know what crimes against humanity are, or you do know and are intentionally being obtuse.
Or you could just stop taking big balls in your mouth and we'll all be goodGuest wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 7:58 pmArgue what I'm saying, not what you wish I was saying.

Holy shit! The globohomos have their claws deep into you, son. No wonder you believe US troops were murdering Iraqi civilians en mass.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 3:29 amFirstly the pretext by which Bush got authorisation to use military force on Iraq was fraudulent and therefore illegal and secondly the invasion itself was in violation of the UN charter and therefore illegal.

I guess that definitively puts the lid on any new Lethal Weapons. Not that I wanted to see Riggs and Murtaugh in a retirement home somewhere

It's probably for the best. 4 was a clown show and he'd been retired for several years. I wouldn't mind a L5thal W5opon but the series had turned into Fast & the Furious by the end with all the focus on FAMILY.
If they make another just keep Shane Black away from it. The Predator pissed away all the good will he'd spent two decades accumulating and I hope never to see him write or direct again.

Fuck that Communist nigger Danny Glover. He can't go kiss Fidel's asshole in Hell soon enough.
Re: Dead Celebrities aren't much fun
I really don't think they're itching to make another. Mel's an old racist. Danny Glover really is too old for this shit. Donner's just died and they did that Lethal Weapon TV show that turned into a big mess.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 3:52 amIf they make another
Of course, the only way it could be any good is if they let Mel direct it and I don't think the suits will ever let that happen
