Haha, we now know the name of the next "woke" all female box office bomb: Charlie's Angels.

Starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott (Brown Kimberley from Power Rangers 2017), and some chick I'm assuming is black, it'll be directed and co-written by Elizabeth Banks who is also playing Bosley (usually a dude, for those not in the know). So get ready misogynist straight white males, you're going to be in trouble when this bullshit fails like Ghostbusters and Oceans 8.

Basically the plot of The Producers is that a Broadway producer and his accountant figure out that they can make more money from a flop than a successful production so they try to engineer a flop. They do this by putting on a play called Springtime for Hitler, which was supposed to be the most tasteless musical they could have ever put on. The plan backfires however, when the play is a huge success and the producer and his accountant get done for tax fraud.

Hollywood does stuff like this all the time. The reason Uwe Boll was allowed to continue making films was that German tax shelter laws allowed his investors to write off the films for tax purposes.

Not only that. He barely needed investors in the first place because you can get tax money to make a German movie from about a dozen sources. His movies don't cost him shit to make.

I think you might even have a hard time finding a German movie that isn't at least 30 - 50% tax-funded. Our joke of a video game industry is pretty darn salty about this, because they generally get jack shit thanks to the evil stigma of video games.

And Charlie's Angels might just turn out to be an even bigger flop than Cisbusters, because just taking a franchise that alread has an all-female team won't generate nearly as much of a shitstorm as taking an established IP and gender-swapping everyone in there. No shitstorm, no free publicity, no people going to watch it for the sole purpose of teaching those darn racist MRA alt-right Trump nazis a lesson.

Thing is they already rebooted Charlie's Angels a couple of years ago with two hot women. Nobody cared back then and that was two hot women. I seriously doubt interest in Charlie's Angels has skyrocketed since then.
