It got delayed due to how terrible the dwarves looked in the trailers and also due to The Marvels bombing as hard as it did.

And before that it got delayed because Peter Dinklage bitched and moaned about dwarfism (aka him not getting a role), so they decided to replace the dwarves (and especially the dwarf actors) with magical forest beings.
Then it got delayed because everyone was making fun of them trying to remove the seven dwarves from the fairy tale about seven dwarves, so we got these CGI monstrosities instead.
And then it got delayed again when everyone looked back and realized how often the main actress was bitching about the original movie.

Is there any movie of theirs they won't make an unecessary live-action remake for? Maybe Home on the Range?

I saw Princess and the Frog for the first time last year, solid movie honestly. They gotta fix that!

The CG animals in both will be the creatures of my fucking nightmares. For all the bitching about negress Ariel, at least that lady could sing alright - making the CG fish look realistic was horrifying to look at.
