Since nobody seems to like making these movies, I’d be ok with bringing Mel Gibson back - even in a different role. Roger Ebert said of Fitzcarraldo, and I’m paraphrasing “who better to play a madman than a madman?”
He and Miller might actually complete a movie in a reasonable time frame if they work together - which I maintain is why Furiosa flopped - a decade is too long for zoomer brain rot.
Critical Normie also added - and I agree - that it’s not a proper Mad Max follow up, so people probably also see the same way they do something like Solo.

This probably should have been a Nigflix project from the get go. From what I’ve read the first movie is structured like several episodes of TV.
