What's funny is that the writer probably fucked up the narrative by publicly saying he was disappointed with the result. If he had just claimed success I think the headlines would have agreed.

This guy is right. No one gave two fucks about this movie until INs came along. I remember people sperging out when Doge said for Disneycember that the movie was shit. He then did a Nostalgia Critic episode explaining why it was shit and they refused to get it. Not surprising that the sequel is shit as well.

The best witches movie will always be 1990s The Witches. Whereas the virgin Hocus Pocus just had Bette Midler doing her most retarded rat face, the chad The Witches had a quality hag and rat hag makeup.

Honestly $4.9M doesn't seem all that bad considering

• It's a comedy movie about a neurotic guy getting butt fucked by a muscley lawyer

• the cast has no popular recognition

• The trailer looked like a conservative parody of a shitlib movie

• a lot shitlibs still don't go to movie theaters because of COVID virtue-signaling.

It would have been OK if Bidenomics didn't make $4.9 million dollars worth way less coke and underaged prostitutes than it was a few years ago. Now it's just a tragic failure!
