Dead Horse Interchange

Chinatown remains fucking fascinating to me - its a movie where the villain is a wealthy degenerate who gets away with hideous behavior because he has power, made by a wealthy degenerate who got away with hideous behavior because he has power. The irony is palpable - and considering Towne fucked with the color grading and worked with other people to redo the score when Polanski was away, I have to wonder if that plot twist was chosen as a deliberate dig. This irony, though - honestly makes me love the movie more.

I haven't been to the movies in over two years. The theaters are nowadays full of communist crap that I don't care at all. I was thinking of going to see Top Gun Maverick, but then I checked the ticket price.. 19€.. yaaaaah, No. My money goes to gas these days anyway.

That Flash movie could get spicy if they neither cancel it nor replace the main actor.
