Michael Swanwick's Chasing the Phoenix is fantastic. If you prefer Russian culture, Dancing with Bears is the previous volume of Darger and Surplus' adventures.

All his Darger and Surplus stories are great. These are basically his attempt at a Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser, sword and sorcery adventur duo. I'm a big fan of these kinds of tales. I also really enjoy Garth Nix's Sir Heresword and Mister Fitz. I wouldn't describe myself as a Garth Nix fan (and I mentioned earlier in the thread that I didn't love Stations of the Tide, by Swanwick,) but short story sword and sorcery? Always have time for that.

Snagged the original four Dragonlance chronicles books, I haven’t read these since I was a kid.

You should check out the playable D&D adventure versions. It's got everything, like boss fights against dragons that have a statistically high chance of just nuking the party*, or peak railroading with several instances of "... and keep sending Draconian patrols until the players get the message that they've been wandering into the wrong direction". Classic.

*) At least in the original AD&D 1e release, what with the way dragon breath attack damage got nerfed in 2e. Can you imagine they used to deal their entire hit points in damage?
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

That sounds cool. The family friend who introduced me to those books actually got or made some minis of the main cast back in the day, he said he’d find them for me along with some of his other stuff.
