In The Sacred Blackman, already infamous due to stupid shit involving anime swords, the main heroine gets raped. This is an outrage because the otaku rightfully want their waifus pure. So the author has to walk it back, the main antagonist is retconned into a eunuch, the anime skips this entirety and the manga just kinda half asses it (the rape is skipped but he does reveal the main heroines huge bouncy 2D tits).

I dropped Goblin Slayer also. I'm not into this D&D-type fantasy. The characters don't even have names, just titles.

At first I didn't understand why Demon Slayer (actual title is The Demon Slaying Blade) was so popular. But then I realized it is actually pretty edgy for a modern Shonen Jump title. Lots of blood, murder, and demon slaying decapitations. There's also an arc that takes place in the red-light district.

I don't know if you've seen Shiki but you really should. IF you can tolerate animu to any extent then Shiki is a required watch.

I'm looking up Shiki on Japanese Wikipedia and there a bazillion characters. Is this some Game of Thrones shit where I'll have to take notes to follow?
