Two chapters in I was ready for heads to get stomped into a pulp. Ten chapters later I was beyond annoyed and just scrolled through a few to see if something cool may happen.

Stupid and gay is what it is and from what I hear the adaptations are entirely faithful to that spirit.

The plot doesn't make sense though.
It's a about a boy who has premonitions about gory things happening, and then gory things happen.
His sister (the girl in the first pic) later on pukes out the entire skeletons of children murdered by a local serial killer (with those same rusty scissors in those pictures) like she's a snake in reverse, and then she's fine again.
Then the tricycles the kids were riding when they disappeared start erupting from her chest, and then she's fine again.
