Let's get one thing straight: I would never hang up just any Garfield poster. I choose only the BEST.

Hawkthually, it's one of the birthday gags :3
Though one could argue (and I certainly do), that the strip has gone downhill since Simp Davis decided to adapt the movie canon of Jon scoring with Liz. He was clearly gay-coded, and in an open relationship with Lyman

Re: Capeshit thread (comics and movies)
I saw Deadpoo - was bored.
It is a hit because it hits that 6/10 mark almost perfectly. Mr. Plinkett has this little bit about that spot in the middle that every movie has to strike - appealing to those of lukewarm intelligence. Idk - its got decent violence and its watchable enough. Wolvy being back isn't too contrived even though Reynolds and Jackman mostly just made some shit up bc they wanted to work together. And it seems at the end that they were retiring both Deadpool and Jackman's Wolvy - but who the hell knows if that lasts.
Wesley Snipes' Blade is in it, and right away I thought 'he's not going to get enough to do' - and he didn't really. At least, unlike the new Piderman, most of these people are aging well enough. Wesley can still sell an action scene, so can Hugh Jackman - whereas, even though I have a *lot more* nostalgia for the Raimi trilogy - when Tobey showed up in MCU Piderman he looked fucking *ROUGH* man. Dude looked like he just got off a bender.
The cameos also include Chris Evans as Johnny Storm and fucking Jennifer Garner as Elektra. Seriously, if you're going to reference a movie that bad - I'm shocked you didn't bring any of the Fant4stic cast back. I suppose the Evans cameo is clever enough - since you need to set up that the original cast can show up in different roles, so Downey can come in as Dr. Doom.
A cameo out of left field would've been fun - like have Dolph Lungren's Punisher from the 80's be one of the people Deadpoo meets. No - everything's very safe. Honestly, a very calculated movie.
Villains are some British faggot and Cassandra Nova - she bitches about Charles Xavier the whole time - and he never shows up. TJ Miller never shows up, unsurprisingly - that was amusing. And they do a Green Day montage of behind the scenes footage of the Fox capeshit movies - because everyone liked it when they did a montage on the last episode of Seinfeld with the same music, I guess. It's the best Deadpoo movie - since they have more cameos they can stick in, but I never thought any of these were that great. All very milquetoast - none of them get really fucking *weird.*

Yeah - there's a big I CLAPPED moment when Wolvy puts on his helmet like you see in the cartoons, a 2nd one when we see him in the costume.

Skinner meme
"Was our movie successful because of the two beloved straight white man actors?"
"No, it's because multiverses and diversity are as popular as ever"
