He claims to like the games in his reviews. But no not my joke, someone else made it before. I didn’t know all this about him, I just assumed he was a smart assed aussie who’d actually insult leftist pseudo gamers with his videos, sounds like he had a real identity crisis.

Given the resurgence with recent events GamerGate was such a weird time. I was out of the loop at first and the media did make what happened to John Flynn’s (fake) terrorization seem horrible. Then I looked into it and learned the truth instead of just blindly following them. I was a lot more insulated from internet bullshit during that era, and remember a friend explaining it all to me, so I didn’t get led astray thankfully. It just feels like a lame forever war that went nowhere, and will always be the eternal exaggerated boo boo on the collective knees of its participants.
