I'm very suspicious of card battler games right now because they seem to be the new indie meta, like super meat boy clones were in 2010.
This one isn't a clone of anything else, and it doesn't have anything to do with Slay the Spire, Magic The Cuckening or Hearthstone.
The cards represent currencies, statistics, creatures and artifacts and you have to figure out how to use and combine them putting them into boxes with timers which either represent actions or events that screw you over (the first of which is the "Time Passes" box, that continuously consumes your money cards, forcing you to find a source of income to stay alive).
It's all about the writing and the music.

What about Yugioh?
It's not like YouGayBro either, because you don't battle opponents or other players, it's more like a survival horror with cards.
I got my first game over with the janny because i decided to become a full time wagecuck and to leave the cult behind, and now the game made me start as a dancer thot.
More income at the start because of simps leaving tips, and after a while the objective manifested itself and it's not about finding the truth behind the world, but mutating into a winged abomination.
I will probably die way before that and start again as someone else.
