So I was wondering how long it'll take for journalist jews to call anyone racist for calling out the racism in the D&D Half-race Entnazifizierung :3

Soon, players will be able to create characters with parents of any two races, no longer bound by being Half-Human
What they're not telling you is that this will be the lazy man's way of half-racing. Your character will be treated as 100% belonging to a single parent's race, since Critical Race Theory doesn't believe in halfbloods, so the most exotic thing you can be as a new half-orc is "human-passing orc".
Ironically enough, with the way races are currently set up in 5e (no attribute modifiers, everyone has like 4 racial traits), making a mixed race character should be easier than ever before. Just swap out traits.

And extended race mixing isn't really anything new. There are plenty of third-party OGL products in varying levels of degeneracy, and when you're limiting yourself to official BECMI products, there's the Orcs of Thar gazetteer that tells you exactly what happens when orcs, goblins, trolls etc. cross-breed.
When Crawford calls the half construction inherently racist, he’s talking about the term itself, and the way it's historically been used in D&D. When we refer to someone as a Half-Elf, we don’t say what the other half is, because we know it's a Human. It positions Humans as the default race in the world, which is an inherently racist world view. A Half-Orc is only half Orc, the other half is normal. You see the problem.
It's not "inherently racist", it's humanocentric. The vast majority of official D&D settings are dominated by human-centric kingdoms / other kinds of nations, with even elves and dwarves kingdoms being small and in the fringes. Halflings usually don't even get their own nation (with the exception of based Mystara, where the land of the halflings is surprisingly badass because every Mystara halfling goes on a Tolkienian journey before retiring in their Not-Shire, giving them a much higher average level than other places).
Fuck, the entire BECMI line is so humanocentric that non-humans are their own class. Everyone else is human.
It’s not just the term itself that makes Half-races problematic though. Separating Half-Orcs into their own distinct race has an othering effect too. They’re not both Orc and Human, they're neither.
Actually, at least 3.X treated Half-Orcs as both when it comes to qualifying for Feats, Prestige Classes etc.

D&D Movie Update

It seems the movie will struggle to break even. It's currently sitting at 130 million (versus a budget of 150 million), and besides the Mario movie there's also an anniversary-related rerun of Return of the King in cinemas :lol:

Humans are the default because 100% of the player base is human. Yes, the other half is "not normal" because there is no such thing as orks IRL.
Heaven forfend we are vaguely racist towards nonexistent creatures! :roll:

It's the same reason why everything in WH 40k is viewed from the Imperial perspective. They are the humans and as such the ones even remotely relatable.

All of those xenos have been entirely invented by other humans. Do they not get that concept? Are they believers of the dimensional merge as well?

They're pretty much just dense on purpose in order to take over WotC.
You see, tabletop RPGs around the world mean "species" when they say "race", since something like a dwarf or elf is not human.
Now these chucklefucks come around and insinuate that the wide-spread usage of "race" actually means these non-humans are supposed to be some kind of human minority, so saying that orcs are "usually Chaotic Evil" and get a -4 to Intelligence is tantamount to human racism.
